1. Hold up each color object one at a time and clearly say the color’s name. For example, “This is red,” “This is blue,” and “This is green.”
2.Mix the objects together and ask the toddler to sort them into three separate piles based on color. Help them identify and name the colors as they sort.
3.Ask the toddler to find items around the room that are red, blue, or green. For example, “Can you find something red?” When they find an item, confirm the color with them.
4.Provide the toddler with a coloring page or a blank sheet and ask them to use red, blue, and green colors. As they color, remind them of the names of the colors.
By repeating these steps and activities regularly, toddlers will become more familiar with identifying and naming the colors red, blue, and green.
Make it a fun and interactive game to maintain their interest and encourage them to say the color names out loud as they use them
